I was born and raised in New York, but moved down to Florida in high school. My love for film grew from there. While in my second year of high school, I began chasing after a career in the film industry. Dreams just don't poof into existence, so I practiced and practiced. I found that my previous knack for writing became a knack for screenwriting. Once I found what I wanted to do in the industry, I needed to find a way into it to start; however, I found breaking into the industry was much harder than I thought. Searching for help, I went to my high school art teacher and she recommended Ringling College. Now as a student of said college, I've found that I'm much closer to my dreams of filmmaking than ever before.
I have juggled a multitude of titles and positions in the pursuit of my goals, but if anything, that has made me much stronger than before.

My filmmaking has evolved throughout the years, bouncing back and forth from horror and  comedy. I combine my thoughts of the world and make fun of the circumstances to cope. In times of hell on earth, I try to  excavate a light within that darkness. My experiences in predominantly White spaces and my Black American culture have largely contributed to the narratives of my films. My goal as a filmmaker is to platform more Black stories, no matter how messy they get. I believe that Black audiences deserve at least that.
Awards and Honors
Recently, I have been given the Best of Ringling Bronze Award for Film. I was chosen by our major's faculty and staff as winners of this award. It is regarded highly at Ringling College of Art and Design and I am extremely thankful to have won it.
I also was given the award for Best Sophomore Directing for my film, Perfect Bovine, which is shown in the Film section of my site. My major holds an award ceremony at the end of each Spring Semester. I am honored to have been given the award.
